Sue’s Big Idea:
Sue’s students designed and constructed hydroponic growing systems. After students researched what plants need for their chosen biome, they commenced farming. Students collected and analyzed data on their vegetation growth. Sue wrapped up her project by hosting a share-a-thon for student to publicly present their findings and learnings.
Sue is passionate about gardening. She maintains flower gardens, vegetable gardens, hydroponic gardens, indoor gardens, and container gardens.
In her own words: "My hope is that this project sparks a passion for STEM subjects and gardening for my kiddos."
