Sam Peterson
In his own words: "STEM is such a beautiful and thrilling subject area to explore because you can study the nuts and bolts behind how the world works and then witness those concepts in everyday life. I applied as soon as I heard about the National STEM Scholars because I want to find new ways to emphasize the connection of our Life Science lessons to my students' out-of-school reality and ensure that I am effectively using available resources to promote long-lasting learning."
