Pati’s Big Idea: 

Students will learn about artificial organ development, beginning with dissecting animal organs and progressing to creating 3-D printed artificial organ designs. Students will learn the human body systems through hands-on experience and will learn how to repair and improve it.

Objectives include:

  • Receiving an introduction to biomedical engineering;
  • Learning cell biology, chemistry, physics and evolution;
  • Learning skills like programming, designing, analysis and problem

Interesting Fact: 

Pati is a snake person. She absolutely loves her daughter’s snake, Jamz!
