Brandi Norman

Explored other planets to learn about local watersheds

2022 STEM Scholar
Huntley, MT Huntley Project Schools

Brandi’s Big Idea:

Brandi’s students went out of this world to learn about habitats, water filtration, and pollutants’ effects on habitats. First, her students designed a habitat for Merl the Mallownaut to survive on Mars in. They then created a water filtration system to keep the habitat sustainable. Last, they came down to Earth to apply their learning and design skills to test their local watersheds.

Interesting Facts:

Brandi enjoys staying fit, running marathons, coaching volleyball, chasing after her four kids, and making memories with her husband.

In her own words: “If I can create one science nerd each year, then I consider my job a success. ”
